Figma Sonsaku Hakufu Review

First Figure Review with my new Canon EOS 1000D DSLR camera. Pics turned out OK, but I think I overexposed by bumping up the Exposure Compensation because I thought the pics would turn out dark again. Turns out that my second lamp fixed that issue and now the pics are too bright lol. Oh well, next figure review should turn out perfect. I hope!

 Anyways!!! I disgress. Tonight I’ll review my Figma Sonsaku Hakufu from Max Factory (and Goodsmile Company of course). Hakufu comes from the infamous anime “Ikkitousen” one of the first animes that popularised overdosing on pantsu shots ^_^;; 

Technically this version of Hakufu is from the 3rd series, “Great Guardians.” But I think my favourite is still the first series (screenshotted) despite the lower animation quality and of course, the lack of full chest nudity that is prevalent in the 3rd series.

 In case you have no idea what Ikkitousen is about, it’s basically a retelling of “Romance of the Three Kingdoms” but the heros are resurrected as bouncy anime chicks with a fetish for showing their underwear. The girls must then fight each other in various Yuri inspired battles. Yes, completely wrong, but that’s why I like it LOL

Hakufu of course is the main character and she is meant to be the king. Unfortunately he/she is now resurrected as a complete idiot girl. An idiot girl with no shame whatsover. And that makes her my favourite character in this series ^_^;;

 A challenge for Ikkitousen viewers. Attempt to count how many panty shots there are in the series. I dare you.

 Anyways! Back to the figure. As usual Max Factory have out-done themselves on this one. Extremely accurate to the anime design. Even down to the pantsu.

 Like the newer figmas, she gets a chest joint. Slightly hidden by her oversize Oppai.

 I really like the karate pose hands she comes with. I’m sure I’m going to be using these on my other Figmas… (Martial Artist Nanoha and Fate anyone?)

 Her twin antenna and side tentacles are made of soft bendable PVC which means they won’t snap off very easily. Very nice.

 Poseability is on par with every other Figma out there, along with the additional chest joint.

 Although it does seem that she can kick higher and easier than earlier Figmas. Or it could just be my imagination? 

Or it could just be my excuse to show more pantsu pics? 

Definitely not abusing the pantsu, honest.

 Spinzaku Kick!

 I’m really glad that Hakufu comes with 3 faces. I think 2 faces only is a cop out (WTB More Feito-chan faces!). Below is angwy face.

 This DSLR allows me to do some pretty mad depth of field tricks (blurring background) a helluva lot easier and better than my old camera.

 Camera also allows multiple points manual selection of autofocus. Allows me to ensure that the pantsu are always in focus.

 I made Hakufu kick a lot because it’s part of her character. Not to show off her pantsu.

 See? Not every kick shows off her pantsu. Although not showing pantsu is not in the spirit of the anime.

 Low angler.

 So anyway, before I go into the “Ace” Part of the Review, I suppose I’ll give my final score. I have to admit, I REALLY like this Figma. Hakufu deserves a 9 easily, or even a 9.5. She is so playable. I haven’t even shown her “battle damage” yet, or her godily awesome 3rd face. I’ll save that part for the “Comic” portion of the review ^_^;;. Enjoy!

 

The extreme violence in this XKoma Comic was inspired by Optimistic Penguin’s Comics. Go read them and be disturbed by themes of drama, infidelity, jealousy, and murder! ^_^

But don’t worry Miyuki fans! She can resurrect herself like the T1000 in Terminator. Death will not stop her. She will continue to be the arch-villain in my reviews.
