Yep, finally got something that any Figure enthusiast should not be without… And no it’s not Pantie shots…
And no, it’s not Hayate joining Nanofate in Meido Outfits…
Isn’t that great? Now you no longer need to put up with horrid quality pics that need flash to look good >_>. I was previously using a Sony compact digi-cam, which is fine when you’re out and about, but kinda sucky when you need to take high quality shots at home.
This is just an entry level DSLR, Canon EOS 1000D with twin lense kit (Image Stabilised). I could’ve gone out and gotten the upper range, but to be honest, it’d probably be wasted on me, who’s only interested in taking the odd figure shot at home. I’d probably still take my compact cam when I’m out and about – don’t like lugging around tons of camera gear.
Unfortunately, I’ll need to charge the battery and have a good read of the instructions / online tutorials on DSLR use tonight, so won’t be able to post some proper content. However I do have the scripts ready for the next round of Nanofate comics (and no, it won’t just be 4Komas!), and this time I’ll be able to do them justice … well as long as I learn how to use this camera right ^_^;; Anyone know some good online tutorials? Anyways till then!!! ~Ace
Hoho… Nice get! Be sure to do experiments! I’ll be waiting for nice photos.
Wow, nice dslr camera!!
did you buy the extra lenses too??
Sweet camera; is the model new? I don’t think I’ve heard of it before
sonic – I’ll probably need a whole day experimenting, and it’s probably best to do it in daylight … so gonna have to wait for the weekend >_>
phossil – I just got the twin lens kit. 18-55 and 55-250 mm if I remember right. I’m thinking about getting a macro lens though …
Snark – It’s not that new, I think it came out late last year. It’s Canon’s entry level DSLR. The camera base by itself is $800~ the lenses I think are around 200 each. Its entry level but a lot of ppl say good stuff about it online. So I thought I’d try it out…
Aha, so this is why your pictures look so nice now, awesome get! I’m in the market for a DSLR myself, though I’ll be settling for something less expensive most likely.
