Imouto wa Shishunki – Recommended 4Koma

The above is a taste of the 4Koma series “Imouto wa Shishunki” (by Ujiie Tozen) which means, “My Adolescent Younger Sister.” I won’t explain what it’s about as the title really kind of explains it all, though have to warn you it’s a bit ecchi. It’s one of my favourite 4Koma’s and you could probably guess from the types of 4Komas that I usually make up myself ^_^;;.

However, the first 4Koma series that introduced me to this type of manga format was Azumanga Daioh (sp?). And I didn’t even know what the term “4Koma” meant. But I find that 4 panels is really enough to lay out the groundwork for the punchline of the joke, and also quick and simple to read. I do believe Lucky Star also originated from 4Koma manga as well, though I haven’t read any of it.
