I hope everyone had a safe and awesome Christmas! Even though I’m here in the Philippines, I do have some relatives which I spent Nocha Buena with. It was a fun-filled alcohol fuelled night >_>. I won’t say more than that …

I bought most of the stuff (except the Disney thing) from Wasabi Toys in Green Hills, Shoppesville:

A bit of free publicity for them ^_^;; A lot of people recommended them to me so I thought I’d check it out. They seem a tad cheaper than some of the other places and legit. Will probably buy more from them, especially if they stock more figmas.

Anyways looks for a comic on new years from me as well ^_^;; I already have one ready. But for now, sayanara and keep enjoy the festive season! ~Ace

So I’ve been gone for a while … not all my fault! Just moved into my new place, been busy fixing it up, then work stuff, then I got sick with the flu or something all of last week ^_^;;

I actually wrote this post before as well, but the pc crashed and I lost it >_>. So trying to write this from memory.

It’s been a while, but going to be back blogging with a vengeance. Settled in a bit better now in my new apartment – still in Rockwell Centre, just in a more proper place. As you can see below I’ve already started decorating it with  new PS3 slim and Rockband 2 and Guitar Hero 5 ^_^;; A must for those drunken after parties when mates come over…

Anyways! Today I went to Greenhills again because I had the desire for more loot. Yes … Best Toys … they seem to be the only ones that have the latest figmas??? I went to Wasabi but it was all old stuff … why is that? In any case, here’s the damage:

First up, Figma Aegis. No idea who she is, but she looks cool, and I’m sure I can use her in a Figure 4Koma of some sort…

Revoltech Queen’s Blade Menace. I now have all 3 of the bad girls. She comes with a lot of faces! ^_^;;

And finally a Hybrid style Convoy or Optimus Prime. This thing is tiny but cool!

And I didn’t get this today, but a couple weeks ago – A masterprice Grimlock. Perfect for Feito-chan to ride ^_^;;

Anyways a lot more loot to play around with for a while. Still haven’t set up my photo studio but will soon. I have a lot of scripts for my 4Komas that haven’t been use yet! ~Sayanara for now ~ Ace

Yep, brought my Queen’s Blade figures, lol. They rock. And the second series is actually a lot more fun to watch because now we actually see the battles! I think Echidna is going to have to be my favourite character – she’s so damn hax.

Anyways, photos quality are going to be a bit lacking in the short-term as I only have 1 light (as seen below). I’m still waiting to move into my more permanant condo, then I’ll setup something a bit more professional ^_^;;

I’m a tad more settled here in the PH now than compared to last time. I now have a Driver and Car! Yay I have my legs back!!

Of course one of the first things to do on a non-work day is go shopping for figures at Greenhills Shopping Centre ^_^;;

I guess I’ll be getting my figures later than everyone else now because I need to get them via stores instead of shipping straight from Japan -_-;; However I do have Shamal now! Hmmm … what to use her for in my 4Koma?

Anyway, gonna go off an buy some desk lamps so I can set up my photo studio tomorrow. So HOPEFULLY I should have the next part of MGLF 4Koma out tomorrow. Cross your fingers! Cya ~Ace

I’ve been following Mizuna’s blog on how he created his custom figmas so I thought I’d try my hand at it ^_^

Haven’t had as much time to work on my Figma Shin Sonic Fate due to obvious reasons, but it’s looking pretty good! I did most of the work back in Australia and only just assembled her here now, during one of my now rare free periods here in Philippines

Buffed up her oppai with Epoxy Putty, and also spray painted those panty things black just in case I still wanted to use them. I also had some plastic that I was going to cut into her crotch flap, but  forgot it back in Australia lol >_<. Anyways results so far:

Her Oppai turned out pretty nice if I do say so myself. I used Milliput Epoxy Putty super fine, where you have to mix 2 equal parts of the putty stuff which makes a chemical reaction of some sort to make it eventually harden to rock. I then smoothed out the lumps with water, and once it all dried, sand paper 

Spray paint used was Tamiya Black, which gave it a nice shiny effect. I then used Tamiya Gun Metal to spray the gloves. The weapons would not fit in them though, so for now I’m just using the standard Haruhi hands

Riot Zamber Blades is from the CM’s Corporation Fate. I didn’t bring her to Philippines, but I did bring the weapons ^_^

I still have a lot to go, namely the red details on the leotard, along with the belt straps on her arms and waist. I plan to use rubber bands for the belt and straps, and (if I remembered to bring it) sheet plastic for the crotch flap

Pictures were taken from my apartment room in Rockwell just near the window. Had to play with Exposure values to get the colours right on the front of the figure. It turned out OK I think ^_^;;

Don’t mind the black pantsu, like I said I plan on replacing that ^_^;;

I’m pretty happy with the way she turned out, especially her shiny oppai! Once I put the final details she is going to look soooo cool, even if I do say so myself

One more thing I may try is getting some beefier legs and paint them. The real Figma Fate legs used here do kind of look skinny… 

Anyway, just remember guys that this is only a work in progress. I plan to make this the most perfect Figma Fate I can make!

After that i’ll continue with my 4Koma series. So what do you think?

Well, I arrived in Manila on the 30th of September around about 6:30PM local time. It’s a new life for me because I’m going to be here for 1 year. Yes, that’s right 1 year!

I’m not sure if everyone heard but Philippines was hit by flash flooding last weekend where about 150+ people drowned. Apparently more rain fell in 1 day than what falls in the average of 1 month during the rainy season. Above is a photo from my apartment window in Rockwell…

My prayers go to the Filipinos and their families affected. Although most of the water has drained away, I still see some of the roads with huge puddles. I would have photos of them from my compact camera but silly me forgot to bring its data cable LOL. Need to buy a new one now…

Anyways the reason I’m here is for work purposes. I do get quite a few perks, and based from my previous stint here, I’m already quite used to it. It will be an interesting experience I think, and a chance to build up a lot of life experience

I’m staying temporarily in a sericed apartmen at Rockwell Center just near the Powerplant mall. It’s fairly nice, and will stay here until I find a more permanant place

Unfortunately I would have already had a car and driver, but apparently it was written off by the floods. It was a massive black 4wd Toyota SUV and it was actually completely UNDERWATER. So now currently searching for a new one

But I guess you want to hear the important stuff. Yes I brought all my figmas and props ^_^. So I can continue one I get settled in a bit. I have something really cool incoming next post, which I’ll post tomorrow. But for now I gotta run off and meet some of my workmates for lunch. Cya soon and sayanara for now!~Ace

Haven’t done a proper full Figure Review for a while, so here goes one for Nendoroid Nankyoku Sakura from GoodSmile Company ^_^

Sakura is from the Anime Series Penguin Musume Heart. I really didn’t think much of this series at first, it was more a download because I was bored and had nothing else to do at the time. I’m glad I did though, it was a gem ^_^. I love comedies that are just so stupid, it’s funny ^_^;;. I’ll go over the first few minutes of the opener to give you an idea of what kind of anime this is…

The series starts with an otaku in a dark room watching anime. An imouto character promptly scolds the otaku and advises her that she will be late too school. Not only that but delivers this evil line, “Sebastion, please dispose of anything that is related to anime.”

Nooooooooo! Sebastion don’t do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cut to school. Pink-haired Tsundere Etorofu-san is nominated to be Class President by her (Yandere?) friend Nene-san. Etorofu-san is less than enthused by the idea.

Suddenly!

(They seem to love Camel-toes in this Anime o_O;;)

A girl wearing strange “attire” shows up to class!

That would be my reaction too ^_^

The girl promptly realises she is still in her pyjamas. (Nekomimi and Sukumizu count as pyjamas? LOL)

The girl is introduced as a new student, Nankyoku Sakura (too bad she gets changed into something more normal ^_^;;)

Maybe Etorofu-san is disappointed as well…

Sakura reveals herself as an otaku who loves to cosplay characters in anime ^_^

Etorofu-san is bemoaning that she just doesn’t understand otaku… when Sakura spies her and immediately declares her as “Takanoko-chan!”

Sakura explains who Takenoko-chan is. Basically a loli heroine with one of the most ridiculous costumes I have ever seen…

Etorofu-san looks exactly like her!!! Well, maybe only the eyebrows! ^_^;;

Apparently in the Takenoko-chan anime’s end, she is eaten by an old man. Innuendo much? LOL

But it’s OK because Takenoko-chan returns in Takenoko-shan R!

Sakura finds out about the vote to become Class President. She promptly decides that she wants to be Class President so that she can force Etorofu-san into cosplaying as Takenoko-chan LOL

Sakura decides her intentions by quickly transforming …

Woops! Wrong Costume! LOL Yes, despite this being a comedy, they repeatedly show Sakura in her birthday suit…

She sure did pull the wrong thing…

Anyways! If you haven’t seen this anime yet, I do recommend it. Especially if you like my brand of humour (Otherwise you wouldn’t be here on my site, yes? ^_^). I hope that teaser was enough to convince you to download and watch it. It gets a lot more crazy and funnier than this, I might add…

But back to the review! Although I’m not a so much a fan of Nendoroids, than Figmas, I usually get them when the urge to buy strikes, and especially if it’s a character I like

Sakura is definitely one of my favourite characters. I do like air-headed, bubbly funny bishoujos ^_^

I’m probably bi-polar in the fact I like comedy so much, but also like dark depressing stuff… lately I’ve been writing comedy bubbly stuff, it’s about time I returned to my darker roots…

Sakura goes all out on the fetish stuff. She would be the ideal otaku girlfriend imo ^_^;;

Her design is pretty awesome. Schoolgirl, crazy, ahoge, nekomimi hair, massive chest, frequently goes nude for no reason at all, indestrucible (she’s frequently the target of violence from Etorofu-sans awesome punches, but is none the worse for wear)

Definitely a winner of a character.

I forgot to take rear shots, but Sakura’s tail of her hair is articulated ^_^

For some reason, they also included her miner hat and pick from the opener mining sequence. The hat is AWESOME and fits many other Nendoroids

The mining sequence is prettty damn random. But that’s what I like about this anime. They’re not afraid to be stupid

Removable Ahoge is a plus. At least it won’t be easy to break this way when transporting her around. Although the main reason you can remove it so you can put her helmet on

Angry face. You know I can’t remember when Sakura actually became angry in the anime ^_^;;

She actually looks scary! Kowai!

ANYWAYS… in conclusion Sakura-chan is so kyutto that even the lovely Yoko cannot resist her. Sakura gets a solid 9 out of 10 from me…

This might be my last full Figure Review in a while … like I said in an earlier post, I’ll have a forced leave of absence next week because I’m off to the Philippine! However there still might be a few posts before I leave, depending if I pack in time… for now Ja Matta! ~Ace

This time Hayate gets the upper hand over poor Nanoha ^_^;; I really like stories where the characters with special powers abuse their powers in their normal everyday life. So you can expect a lot more of that to happen in this series, with the focus on their powers being used for ecchi purposes keke ^_^. Anyways, Omake after the jump…

Hmm 20 Parts done so far, that was quick (and that’s not including my earlier efforts).

By the way, I suppose I should mention that I’ll be leaving the country (again) to live in the Philippines for a year (for work). So there may be a short time where I’ll be busy adjusting, setting up, etc, and can’t update my blog. If all goes according to plan, I’ll be leaving late next week. But I’ll see if I can churn out as much as I can before then.

I’ll probably write a more detailed post about it ^_^. I’ll definitely be bringing along my Figmas however! But for now, konban wa ~Ace

Lately I’ve been timing my loot to come on a Monday (so I can use the weekend for shipping time, time seems to go faster that way!)

First is the  Yujin Cocho-Colle Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS 18 pieces Keyrings Set. I had some money to burn, so I was like, might as well get it! Though I was going to cry if I didn’t get Fate and Nanoha >_< (Since it’s random apparently)

Next is Nendoroid Asakura Ryoko. I needed her expansion parts set more than the figure ^_^;; Though I’m still missing Yuki!!!

And lastly … this Figma Sakura Hime thingo. I have no idea who she is. However I have plans for her … you should find out later this week ^_^

Anyways, time to find out if I get Nanoha and Fate!!! *Crosses Fingers*

Hmmm. Smaller than I expected. I guess I should have paid attention to that “20 mm” thing. At 5700 Yen for the box, that comes to about 317 yen per keychain whatchamacallit. On the bright side, if I bought them individually in Australia (and if they actually sold these things here which they don’t) they probably would have ripped me off for like 14 bucks per keychain like they did with the Lucky Star gachapon

First out of the pack is Vita. I was hoping for Fate …. come on Fate!!!

On the third go I got Fate! Mission Accomplished!

I need a macro lens >_>. I’ve been looking online and I think a decent one goes for around about $800+ Australian. I guess I’ll need to read up a bit more on them as I don’t want to spend that much for a lens which I won’t use often, though I hear Macro lens’ are the best for Figure Photography so a Macro Lens could end up being my main lens. Currently I use the 18 -55mm IS, Kit Lens. I still have a LOT to learn about taking good photos though…

Hmm .. uh oh, I opened around 15 of them so far, and no Nanoha yet! If I don’t get her I’m seriously going to be pissed >_<;;

On the 16th try I finally get Nanoha-tan! Awww! Feito has a baby, coochi coochi coo!

Tt turns I didn’t need to worry. The last 2 packets were ANOTHER Fate and Nanoha in that order. So I have doubles of them. 100% Mission Accomplished!
