(Real) Last Loot of December

Well, that statement I made in my last loot post turned out untrue as Hobby Search has come through the goods before New Years! This just came by EMS this morning around 7:30AM o_0;;. I usually get things shipped to me at work, but I’m on holidays so I changed the shipping address to home. The Delivery Guy woke me up, but I’m not mad at him ^_^;;

So it’s n0 surprise, but this time around we have Figma Shana, and both A and B sets of the Nendoroid Playsets.

Tomoyo Sakagami Kotobukiya 1/8 Figure Review

I’ve realised that I’ve changed. It used to be that I would usually “ship” with the female protagonist of every show I watch. However it seems that now I actually go for the interesting side characters more often than not. The main female of a story is usually formulaic to appeal to the widest audience there is, whilst the side characters cater for the niche fans. So it looks like I’m now a niche fan ^_^

So that brings us to Clannad, and Tomoyo Sakagami. And if I have to have a Clannad Figure, it would be everyone’s lovable street fighting School President. I do like girls that can fight, and being a fighter and a School President is really quite unique. But that isn’t the main reason why she’s my favourite. The reasons are mostly because of Clannad Episode 24, the DVD Special (Although the fact that her and Tomoya’s names match is a cute coincidence).

Now this is one package I’ve been waiting for – Tomoyo Sakagami from Kotobukiya and the Hatsune Miku Music Boxes from Sega:

Tomoyo is my fave gal from Clannad, especially upon seeing the special “Alternate Universe” episode from the DVD. Definitely expect a good review of her from me soon (Hint: Last day of work tomorrow before I go on Holidays ).

Tora Dora! 12

Just watched Tora Dora Episode 12, and there is something about it I just had to write about.

This show just keeps on impressing me as it goes on. On one level it’s a simple comedy, and a tsundere comedy at that. On another level, there are so many hidden meanings and morals littered throughout, it gives you those warm and fuzzy feelings (WAFF as they were known in fics!)

Nendoroid Miku Review

My first ever job was as an ISP Technical Support Consultant – and Miku’s earphones reminds me of the headsets we used to wear. I always thought she would make a cute tech support consultant . Anyways, the above actually happened in real life, and to this day it still sticks in my head as one of the stupidest calls I’ve ever taken… But I disgress, this post is to celebrate my recent acquisition of Nendoroid Miku!
