Code Geass Fanfic – The Real Ending – Spamfic

Figma Hatsune Miku Review

First up for this week’s reviews is the intensely massively popular Figma Hatsune Miku from Max Factory and Goodsmile Company.

It’s a bit strange how I got into Miku… I guess it all started with this Youtube vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbbA9BhCTko

I thought it was hilarious ^_^;;. I looked into Miku more and found out she’s from the Japanese Vocoloid software where you can synthesise (sp?) singing using your computer. Some people have done some amazing stuff with it where even English songs have been synthesised – though it usually sounds all Engrished up, but still cute!

Anyway, long story short, I need anything figurised with Miku. I had missed out on the Nendoroid version (though I have the December re-release pre-ordered). Staying up late night re-refreshing at hlj.com paid off and I have the very popular Figma! (To give you an idea of how popular she is, her pre-order period only lasted a couple hours if that!).

Something Special

As expected, my Mid-September loot has arrived! Yes, not 1, but 2 Hatsune Mikus!!! WOOT. And you know, the 2 boxes of the Good Smile Nendoroid Petites are actually pretty damn heavy

Hmm .. it’s just dawned on me that I have about a bajillion Gundams, but haven’t really reviewed one of them. I may start reviewing the ones I have built (mostly SEED MGs) as soon I’ve finished with this lot.

ToLoveRu Fanfiction – Crimson Darkness Part 2

Here’s another installment of my ToLoveRu Fanfiction which attempts to turn a Fanservice comedy anime/manga into serious action drama using an alternate universe scenario ^_^;; (If you missed the first part of Crimson Darkness, Click Here).

My other favourite character in this show is Rito’s little sister, Mikan. I don’t know, I just really like her character design. I know she’s meant to be loli, but yet she isn’t. The second cutest character besides Yami.

Anyway, she makes her debut in this next part!

Shipped Stuff (Preview for next week reviews/photos)

The reason is, my next lot of shipped stuff should be due in on that day ^_^;;

I think September is the month where I have most pre-ordered by far. After this lot, I have another lot due to arrive lolol.

Kimi no Iru Machi

Been reading this manga over at One Manga lately, “Kimi no Iru Machi.”

I thought the art looked Like “Suzuka” then promptly realised it was by the same author Seo Kouji >_>.

Anyway, me being sick of female Tsundere characters with fawning male boyfriends (Suzuka), ironically I found this particular manga interesting and hilarious, because it completely reverses the norm. 

Instead we have a Tsundere *male* with a female fawning wannabe girlfriend (too bad he hates her, and likes someone else!).

I really like role reversal stories and got hooked on this one. Can’t wait till the next chapter comes out. Thanks to Red Hawk Scanlations for translations – and of course the original author Seo Kouji. I hope an anime for it comes out!

Konami Haruhi and Diorama Review

I got this figure last week, and I’ve taken so many pics of it, it took ages and that’s why this is really quite late ^_^;;. Anyway tonight I’ll be reviewing the Suzumiya Haruhi figure by Konami. I think I have stated this before previously, but I’m not so much a fan of static PVC figures, but for this one I had to make an exception. Why, you ask? Because of its awesomely awesome diorama set that it comes with of Haruhi’s table, PC, Monitor and chair!!!

ToLoveRu Fanfiction – Crimson Darkness Part 1

As a return to writing fanfiction, I thought I’d use an idea that suddenly came upon me while training it to work one day. Since I have a love for marrying stories with completely different genres, I actually came up with the idea of mixing a Fanservice Comedy Romance series (ToLOVERu) with Serious / Drama and Action.

And I’ll do it using one of my favourite characters in the series, Konjiki No Yami

It’s a fairly short fic, and simplistic, compared to the standard fics I write. Anyway without further ado, continue on if you would like to read Crimson Darkness Part 1!
